Small document jobs that come up every day on a desk: blinding a CV before it goes to a client, putting your agency's name on it, watermarking it, building one submission pack out of four PDFs, getting a scan under a job board's upload limit. Every tool here is free, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser: the file is opened by JavaScript in your own tab and handed back as a download. Nothing is uploaded, because there is no server to upload it to. They are built for agency consultants, resourcers and executive search teams handling candidate data they have promised to look after.

Questions recruiters ask
- Are these recruiter tools really free?
- Yes. There is no login, no limit on files and no watermark added by us. They cost us nothing to run because your own browser does the work, so there is nothing to charge for.
- Is it safe to put candidate CVs into these tools?
- The files never leave your computer. Each tool is a page of JavaScript that opens the file in your browser tab, changes it there and hands it back as a download. No upload happens, which you can check in your browser's network panel. Close the tab and the file is gone from the page.
- Who makes the tools?
- Formatix, the CV formatting platform for recruitment agencies. The tools are ported from recruiter-tools, our open-source project on GitHub (MIT licence), so the code that handles your file is public and can be audited.
- Why is there no PDF to Word converter here?
- Rebuilding Word paragraphs, tables and styles from a PDF, or laying out a Word document as a PDF exactly as Word would, needs a real office layout engine. A browser-only version would quietly move your page breaks. Those conversions are available free with a Formatix account instead.
