    How does Formatix.AI process CVs?

    You drop a CV in, the AI reads it and extracts the candidate data, and that data is laid out in your own template. It takes about thirty seconds per CV. Input can be PDF, Word (DOC/DOCX), RTF, TXT, scanned images or photos, or a LinkedIn PDF export. You check the result beside the original before you send it, and can edit it in place.

    Is my data secure and GDPR compliant?

    Yes. Formatix.AI is GDPR and UK data protection compliant. CVs are processed in the UK/EU and encrypted in transit. Formatted records are kept only for the retention period you set in your account and are then deleted automatically. Nothing you upload is used to train AI models or shared with third parties.

    What file formats and languages are supported?

    Input: PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, TXT, scanned images and photos, and LinkedIn PDF exports. Output: Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF, in your own template. CVs in more than 40 languages are supported, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic.

    Can I integrate Formatix.AI with my ATS?

    Yes. A JobAdder integration is live, and the Agency plan and above include a REST API with webhooks for connecting other ATS and CRM systems. You can also format CVs from ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity through our free MCP connection, or by forwarding CVs to your formatting email address.

    What's included in the free trial?

    10 free credits (one credit formats one CV) with no card, valid for 14 days. You get the full product: templates built from the documents you already send clients, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF output, bulk formatting, and email support.

    How much does Formatix.AI cost compared to alternatives?

    Plans start at £20 a month for 20 credits (£1 per CV) and go down to £0.77 per CV on the Enterprise plan. Top-up packs run from £24 for 20 credits to £425 for 500. Prices are public and you can start free; several competitors, such as Allsorter and DaXtra, are quote-only.

    What makes Formatix.AI different from Allsorter or CV-Transformer?

    Formatix.AI fills Word, PowerPoint and Excel from one extraction, builds templates automatically from your own documents, formats CVs by email, and works inside ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity through MCP at no extra cost. Most CV formatting tools output Word or PDF only and have the vendor build the templates for you.

    Can I format CVs in bulk?

    Yes. Upload up to 20 files at a time (10 MB each) and they are processed in parallel; one batch can fill the profiles, the shortlist deck and the tracker from the same extraction. Monthly plans include 20 (Solo), 55 (Team), 120 (Agency) or 260 (Enterprise) credits, and top-up packs go up to 500 credits.

    How do I cancel my subscription?

    You can cancel anytime from your account settings or by contacting our support team. There are no cancellation fees and you'll retain access until your billing period ends.
