About this tool
This free tool joins several PDFs into one, in the order you choose, so a candidate submission goes to the client as a single file: your cover note, the CV, a psychometric or assessment report and references. No login and no upload: the PDFs are combined in your browser.

Why send one file
A hiring manager who receives five attachments opens two. One PDF with the cover note first and the CV straight after is read in order, prints in one go, and is saved to the client's system as one record of your introduction. It is also the natural shape for a shortlist pack: several candidates, one after another.
Building a submission pack
A typical order is a one-page cover note, your formatted CV or profile, then supporting documents: an assessment or psychometric report, references, a portfolio. For a shortlist, repeat that block for each candidate. Add a cover page with the free cover page tool, then watermark the finished pack so every page shows it came from you.
Worth knowing
- Pages are copied as they are. Bookmarks, form fields and attachments inside the original PDFs are not carried across.
- Password-protected PDFs need unlocking first.
- Word documents need saving as PDF first, or use the Word merge tool to combine .docx files.
Questions recruiters ask
- How many PDFs can I merge?
- There is no set limit. Very large packs are limited by your computer's memory, because the work happens in your browser.
- Can I merge Word documents too?
- Not in this tool. Save them as PDF first, or use the free Word merge tool, which combines .docx files into one Word document.
- Does merging reduce quality?
- No. Pages are copied across unchanged; nothing is re-rendered or compressed.
- Are the files uploaded?
- No. They are read and combined in your browser tab.
- Can I add a cover page to the pack?
- Yes. Build the cover with the free cover page tool, then merge it in first, or run the cover page tool on the finished pack.
