About this tool
This free tool puts a branded front sheet on a candidate's CV PDF: the candidate's name, the role, your agency's name and logo, a short introduction for the client and today's date, in a modern, classic or minimal style. No login, and the CV never leaves your browser.

When recruiters use it
Retained and executive search submissions, where a candidate is presented rather than forwarded; blind shortlists, where the cover carries a candidate reference instead of a name; and speculative approaches to a new client, where the cover explains in two lines why this person is worth a call.
Why a cover page helps
It frames the introduction before the client reads a word of the CV: who the candidate is, the role, who is presenting them and when. For a blind submission, put a reference number in the candidate box instead of a name.
Worth knowing
- The cover uses the built-in PDF fonts, so Latin characters only; anything else is flagged.
- The introduction wraps automatically and is cut off if it runs past the page. Keep it to a short paragraph.
- Logos must be PNG or JPEG.
Questions recruiters ask
- What goes on a candidate cover page?
- The candidate's name or reference, the role, your agency, the date and two or three lines on why this person fits the brief.
- Can I use it for a blind CV?
- Yes. Anonymise the CV first, then put a candidate reference such as "Candidate A" in the name box.
- Does it change the CV?
- No. The cover is a new first page; the CV's pages follow unchanged.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The cover is drawn and joined to the CV in your browser.
