About this tool
This free tool adds your recruitment agency's name, contact line and logo to the header of every page of a candidate's CV PDF, and a footer such as "Submitted by Northgate Recruitment · Page 1 of 3". It takes seconds, needs no login, and the CV never leaves your browser.

Why agencies brand a CV before it goes out
A CV that arrives with your agency's name on every page is harder to claim you did not introduce. It also looks like a submission rather than a forwarded attachment, and the footer carries your terms or a contact number to anyone the client passes it to.
What to know before you use it
- The header and footer are drawn on top of the page. They do not push the CV's own content down, so if the CV has text right at the top or bottom edge, the two can overlap. A smaller text size or the footer only usually solves it.
- Text uses the built-in PDF fonts, which cover Latin characters only. Anything else is replaced with a question mark, and the tool tells you.
- It adds to the CV; it does not remove the candidate's contact details. Run the CV anonymiser first if the client should not have them.
- Logos must be PNG or JPEG.
Questions recruiters ask
- Can I add our logo to every page of a CV?
- Yes. Add a PNG or JPEG in the logo box, choose which corner it goes in and how tall it is. It is placed on every page, or every page but the first if you tick that box.
- Will it change the candidate's CV layout?
- No. The CV pages are copied as they are and your text is drawn over the margins. Nothing in the CV moves, which also means your header can overlap content that sits right at the edge of the page.
- Can I add page numbers?
- Yes. Type {page} and {pages} into any slot, for example "Page {page} of {pages}".
- Is the CV uploaded to your server?
- No. The PDF is changed by code running in your browser tab and saved straight to your computer.
