Position specification template for executive search

A position specification is the document a search firm writes at the start of a mandate and shares with candidates: the company, the role and its reporting lines, the responsibilities, the requirements and the experience sought, the compensation range where disclosed, and the search process and timeline. It is the firm's brief to the market. This PowerPoint template has those sections in the firm's design, and Formatix fills it from the client's brief and the consultant's notes.

The specification is the first thing a senior candidate reads about a role, and it is read as a statement of how the firm works. A consistent, well-designed specification is a small piece of the firm's reputation, and one that should not depend on which associate wrote it.

What you keep is the finished document: an editable Word, PowerPoint or Excel file you can send as it is or change in Office.

Ask for changes in plain words, such as "move the photo to the right" or "add a Languages section", and the template is updated with the rest of its formatting kept. If you already have a document you send clients, upload that instead and Formatix turns it into a template. How Studio builds templates
