Temporary and contract staffing

Contractor profile with day rate, IR35 and availability

A contractor profile is the short summary an agency sends a client with a contract submission, with the day rate, IR35 status and availability up front and the recent engagements below. Formatix fills it from the contractor's CV and your call notes, and shows each term only as the contractor confirmed it: nothing is inferred, and anything not confirmed prints "Not confirmed".

No credit card. Your first ten CVs are free, and the trial credits are valid for 14 days.

    What it is

Contract clients read the terms before anything else. The profile puts them first as a plain terms table: availability, day rate, IR35 status, location, remote or on-site working and security clearance.

Below the terms come a short summary and the key skills, up to five recent engagements as a table (dates, client, role and outcome, with the duration, sector and technologies used), then certifications and education. It runs to one or two pages per contractor.

The footer reminds the client that availability, day rate and IR35 status are as confirmed by the contractor and should be checked before engagement.

    What stays blank

    FieldWhy it stays blank
A day rate that is not confirmedPrints "Not confirmed". It is never taken from the role, the market, a previous contract or a rate card, and hourly or annual figures are never converted.
An IR35 status that is not confirmedPrints "Not confirmed". It is never assumed from a limited company, the role or previous contracts.
Availability that is not statedPrints "Not confirmed". It is never worked out from the end date of the current contract.
Security clearance that is not statedPrints "Not confirmed". It is never assumed from a past client being a government body.
Contact and personal detailsEmail, phone, home address, date of birth, age, nationality, health, passport and right to work details are never printed.

    Frequently asked questions

How is it different from the contractor CV?
The contractor CV is the agency's full CV format, two to three pages with every engagement and earlier career. The contractor profile is the short submission version: terms first, a summary, key skills and up to five recent engagements.
Can a previous client stay confidential?
Yes. When your notes say a client must not be named, the engagement shows a general description instead, such as "A UK high-street bank".
Is there a list of what is missing?
Not a separate one. Each term that is not confirmed prints "Not confirmed", so the client and your team can see what is still open.
Does it work with our ATS or CRM?
JobAdder, Salesforce, HubSpot and Ezekia connect to Formatix natively on every plan, including the free trial. Any other ATS or CRM works with Formatix by email: send the contractor's CV and your call notes to [email protected] and the filled document comes back.
