Security-cleared candidate profile
A security-cleared candidate profile presents a candidate to a defence, security, policing or government client with every clearance they hold recorded first. Formatix fills it from the CV and your notes, records each clearance, sponsor and date only as stated, never infers a clearance, and lists the clearance facts still needed.
No credit card. Your first ten CVs are free, and the trial credits are valid for 14 days.
What it is
Clients for cleared roles check the clearance before anything else: the level, the sponsor, when it was granted, when it expires and whether it is active.
The Formatix template shows the highest clearance stated under the name, a clearance record table, ticks for the levels held, nationality and UK residency as stated and a notice that clearance details must be verified with the sponsor; then a profile, relevant programmes described at an unclassified level, career history, skills and a Still needed box. Its footer says clearance facts are as stated, not verified by the agency unless noted, and that it contains no classified information.
What Formatix fills in
| Field | Filled from |
|---|---|
| Clearances held: BPSS, CTC, SC, eDV, DV, NPPV levels or another named scheme | Only clearances the CV or your notes say the person holds or held |
| Sponsor, granted, expiry and status | Only as stated |
| Nationality and UK residency | Only as stated |
| Profile, skills and career history | The CV |
| Relevant programmes | Unclassified detail the CV already gives |
What stays blank
| Field | Why it stays blank |
|---|---|
| A clearance implied by a role, employer or customer | Never listed. "Eligible" or "willing to undergo SC" is not a clearance. |
| An expiry not stated | Never worked out from a grant date; a clearance is never assumed to be active. |
| Nationality or residency not stated | Never inferred from a name, birthplace, education or work history. |
The Still needed list
The profile ends with a "Still needed: clearance facts" box for the agency, listing up to six clearance facts a client will ask for that the documents do not give, such as a sponsor, grant date and expiry, whether a clearance is still active, nationality or UK residency. Confirm them with the candidate and the sponsor, then remove the box before sending.
