    Consultant framework CV template

A consultant framework CV presents a named consultant in a public-sector call-off, a tender or a client proposal: proposed role, a day-rate band left blank to complete, security clearance when stated, experience and availability, a profile, SFIA skills with levels, sectors and key skills, three or four case studies, then career history, qualifications and memberships. UK frameworks such as G-Cloud 15, MCF4 and DOS7 do not set a CV format, so buyers do; this Word template is the starting point when they set none, filled from each consultant's existing CV.

Consultancies re-cut the same consultants' CVs for every competition. Use the buyer's format when one is issued; otherwise reformat employee CVs into this standard format for every consultant on the team so the evaluators compare like with like.

    Questions about this template

Do the frameworks require this format?
No. The GCA agreement pages for G-Cloud 15, MCF4 and DOS7 do not set a CV format; buyers set requirements in their call-offs. Use the buyer's format when there is one.
    Does it write the profile?
It drafts a short profile from the CV and your note for your team to edit. It does not add experience the consultant does not have.
Can we use it for client proposals too?
Yes. Many consultancies use the same CV for proposals and statements of work, rebuilt in their brand.
