Development-bank key expert CV template
A development-bank key expert CV presents each proposed expert in a consulting proposal for a project financed by the World Bank or another development bank. This Word template follows the structure of the CV in Form TECH-6 of the World Bank's Request for Proposals for consulting services (March 2025): position and number, personal details, education, employment record relevant to the assignment with references, professional associations, language skills, adequacy for the assignment and a certification block. It is not an official World Bank form.
International development consultancies rebuild their experts' CVs into this structure for every proposal, and write the adequacy table against the tasks in each work plan. Where the RFP you received includes its own version of the form, upload that version as the template: it takes precedence over any general structure.

Questions about this template
- Is this the official World Bank TECH-6 form?
- No. It follows the structure of the CV in Form TECH-6 of the World Bank's Request for Proposals for consulting services, March 2025 revision. Always use the form in the RFP you received; if it differs, upload that one.
- What is the adequacy for the assignment section?
- A table pairing each task assigned to the expert in your work plan with the prior work or assignments that best show the expert can handle it. In the World Bank's standard evaluation it carries 60 to 80 per cent of each expert's score.
- Does it include only relevant employment?
- The TECH-6 CV asks for employment relevant to the assignment, starting with the present position, and says employment that is not relevant does not need to be included. Your note can tell Formatix which roles to keep.
- Can the CV be signed?
- The template ends with a certification block for the expert and the consultant's authorised representative. Signatures are added by them after download.
