IT consultant client submission resume template
An IT consultant submission resume is the one-page resume an IT staffing vendor sends when it submits a consultant to an end client or a prime vendor against a requisition. This Word template uses the plain single-column form hiring managers expect: the consultant's name and headline; a boxed submission details grid with the role and requisition, the end client, the submission date, the submitting vendor and contact, total and local years of experience, availability, work authorization or visa status, current location, relocation, engagement type and rate, each only as stated; the professional summary; the key skills matched to the requirement with years and where they were used; technical skills by category; certifications and education; and recent project experience with client, role, dates, environment and responsibilities. Formatix fills it from the consultant's resume and your submission notes. If your client mandates its own resume format, Formatix builds the template from that instead.
Every requisition brings the same work: take the consultant's resume, add the submission details the client asks for, line the skills up against the requirement and fit it on one page. This template does that for each submission. Rate, availability, work authorization and relocation appear only as the consultant or your notes state them, and a skill is matched to the requirement only where the resume shows it.

Ask for changes in plain words, such as "move the photo to the right" or "add a Languages section", and the template is updated with the rest of its formatting kept. Questions about this template
- Will it fill in a rate or work authorization?
- Only as the resume or your notes state them. A rate is never taken from the role, the market or a previous contract, and a visa or work authorization status is never inferred from a name, a nationality, a university or a country of work. Only the status is printed, never a document number.
- How are the key skills matched to the requirement?
- Only when your notes or an attached job description state the requirement. Each must-have is shown with where the consultant used it, from the resume, and the years, stated or added up only from the dated projects that show the skill. A match the resume does not show is never claimed.
- How are the years of experience worked out?
- As the resume or your notes state them, or counted only from the dated roles when the dates allow. Years in the client's market count only roles whose stated locations are in that market. Nothing is rounded up.
- Can the end client stay confidential?
- Yes. When your notes say the end client is confidential, the resume shows a general description instead, such as "A national health insurer". The consultant's own contact details are never printed.
- Our client has its own resume format. Can we use that?
- Yes. Upload your client's mandated format and Formatix builds the template from it, so every consultant goes in the layout the client asked for.
