What paperwork do NHS and education staffing frameworks ask for each booking?

Under the RM6277 non-clinical and RM6281 clinical staffing frameworks, the supplier submits a completed Appendix B Assignment Checklist for all bookings, and auditors can ask for a CV confirming the worker's full work history. Under RM6376 for supply teachers and education staff, the supplier confirms a booking with a temporary worker compliance checklist (Annex C) if the buyer requires it. Formatix AI has Word templates that follow these structures and fills them from the documents the agency already holds. They are not official forms.

The frameworks, as of October 2026

    • RM6277 Non-Clinical Temporary and Fixed Term Staff: 167 suppliers, running to 24 April 2027. Roles cover admin, corporate, IT, legal, scientific and estates.
    • RM6281 Workforce Alliance Clinical and Healthcare Staffing: 315 suppliers, running from 15 May 2024 to 4 May 2027.
    • RM6376 Supply Teachers and Education Recruitment: 209 suppliers on Lot 1 and 16 managed service providers on Lot 2, running from 30 April 2026 to 29 April 2029.

What is needed for each booking

    • RM6277 and RM6281: an Appendix B Assignment Checklist for all bookings, covering the status determination statement, the role and dates, the worker, the charge rate and supplier fee, the pay route, conflicts, and the validated documents and checks.
    • RM6277 and RM6281: an End of Assignment Assessment Report after each assignment. The ratings belong to the buyer's officer.
    • RM6277: central government buyers require the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), and other buyers set their own checks.
    • RM6376: a temporary worker compliance checklist (Annex C) if the buyer requires it, and full employment history among the checks before an assignment.
    • Schools: KCSIE 2026 paragraph 364 says schools must obtain written notification from the agency that it has carried out the same checks the school would otherwise perform.

    What happens at audit

The audit evidence list for RM6277 and RM6281 includes the assignment checklist and a CV confirming the worker's full work history, alongside documents such as ID, references, right to work and DBS. On RM6281 and RM6277, failing a Health Assurance Audit, or not fixing findings in time, can mean immediate suspension. RM6376 has its own Worker Compliance Audit, with immediate suspension if it is failed.

    Doing it with Formatix

Formatix AI fills the checklist and a clean candidate CV from the CV, your compliance records and your notes, in your branding, in Word or PDF. It copies only what those sources contain and lists anything missing as still needed, instead of guessing a tick or a date. It does not carry out checks, and declarations and signatures stay with you. If your buyer issues its own version of the form, upload it and Formatix builds a template that keeps its layout.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is RM6277?
RM6277 is the Non-Clinical Temporary and Fixed Term Staff framework, run by the Government Commercial Agency. Its 167 suppliers provide temporary admin, corporate, IT, legal, scientific and estates workers, and it runs to 24 April 2027.
Is there an RM6277 assignment checklist template?
The framework publishes its own Appendix B checklist. Formatix AI has a Word template that follows its structure in your agency's branding and fills it from your documents. It is not an official form, so check the current version your buyer issues.
Does an RM6277 or RM6281 supplier need a CV for each worker?
The audit evidence list includes a CV confirming the worker's full work history, so agencies need one on file behind each checklist.
Does the RM6376 checklist apply to every booking?
No. The specification says the supplier confirms a booking through a completed temporary worker compliance checklist if the buyer requires it. The KCSIE written notification to schools is separate.
Does Formatix carry out the checks?
No. It copies what your records say and lists anything missing. Checks, declarations and signatures stay with you.
