Executive search · Singapore buyer's guide

Best CV formatting software for executive search firms in Singapore (2026)

Updated 9 October 2026 · Written by the Formatix AI team, London

Search firms in Singapore run regional mandates from the city: a CFO for a Southeast Asian conglomerate, a country manager covering Indonesia and Vietnam, a board seat for a family office. The reports and decks from those searches go to clients across ASEAN, and each has to look as if your firm wrote it.

This guide covers the tools Singapore search firms ask us about, starting with Vincere, whose operating company is registered in Singapore. We make Formatix AI, so for the others we have kept to what each vendor publishes and said where it is the better choice.

If you run Vincere and only need branded CVs, start with Vincere's own Document Builder, or HireAra, which Vincere offers through its marketplace. If you parse large volumes of CVs in Malay, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese or Chinese, look at DaXtra Styler. If your firm also sends assessment reports, board papers, shortlist decks with Excel trackers or succession packs in its own template, Formatix AI is built for that.

    1. Formatix AI

Best for: Singapore search firms that send clients more than CVs

Formatix AI, based in London, produces the documents a Singapore search is judged on, in your firm's own template. Upload a report or deck you already send clients and Formatix keeps its fonts, colours and layout.

Formatix does not assess candidates or interpret psychometrics, and is not affiliated with any psychometric publisher. Plans are charged in Singapore dollars at checkout. Data is processed in the UK and EU under GDPR and never used to train AI models; review that against your PDPA transfer obligations, as you would for any overseas vendor.

    • Assessment reports with the Hogan, SHL, Saville Wave or DISC results you already hold.
    • Board and CEO reports, and blind profiles without photo, age or contact details.
    • Shortlist decks, one slide per candidate, with a matching Excel tracker for regional clients comparing several markets.
    • Succession and 9-box packs, longlists and market maps.
    • CVs in more than 40 languages, including Chinese and Japanese.
    • Browser, email, API, JobAdder, and ChatGPT or Claude via MCP; no Vincere connector is listed, so check with Formatix.

Less suited to: firms that want formatting to happen inside Vincere without leaving the CRM (Vincere's Document Builder or HireAra fit better), or high-volume desks where parsing throughput matters most (DaXtra).

    2. Access Vincere Evo

Best for: firms already running Vincere that want formatted resumes inside the CRM

Vincere is a recruitment ATS and CRM now sold by The Access Group as Access Vincere Evo. Its privacy policy names HiringBoss Holdings Pte Ltd, at 120 Robinson Road, Singapore, as the data controller. Vincere has published that Links International, with offices including Singapore and Hong Kong, rolled it out across its business.

For candidate presentation, Vincere's help centre describes a Document Builder where you set the document type to Formatted Resumes, add your branding and insert wildcards that pull candidate details from the record. Its automated CV formatting page points to the HireAra platform for AI formatting, and its marketplace lists DaXtra for automatic CV styling.

Less suited to: firms not on Vincere, and to shortlist decks, trackers or assessment reports, which its formatting pages do not describe.

    3. HireAra

Best for: consultants who want to know when a client has opened a profile

HireAra is a candidate presentation platform from The Access Group, the same group that now sells Vincere, and it connects through the Vincere Marketplace. It offers an APAC login and lists integrations with Vincere, Bullhorn, JobAdder, Salesforce, Mercury and others.

It produces formatted CVs, executive one-pagers, spec CVs, cover sheets and candidate websites, each shared as a trackable link. The pricing page lists Starter at £180 a month plus VAT for unlimited users and 1,500 candidates a year, charged in sterling.

Less suited to: PowerPoint shortlists, Excel trackers, assessment reports and succession packs, which are not among its templates.

    4. DaXtra Styler

Best for: high-volume desks that need parsing and formatting across regional languages

DaXtra, headquartered in Scotland, is best known for CV parsing. Its formatting product, DaXtra Styler, turns parsed CVs into standardised, branded candidate profiles in Word, PDF or HTML, with anonymised versions, your logo, consultant details and a cover sheet.

Its published language list includes Malay, Bahasa Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Its Asia-Pacific offices are in Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo and Shenzhen, not Singapore. DaXtra states ISO 27001 certification and does not publish prices.

Less suited to: boutiques that want self-serve sign-up, and to decks or assessment reports, which DaXtra does not describe.

    • You run Vincere and want formatted resumes without another login: start with Vincere's Document Builder.
    • You want trackable client links on Vincere, Bullhorn or JobAdder: HireAra.
    • You need parsing and formatting for Malay, Thai, Vietnamese or Chinese CVs at volume: DaXtra Styler.
    • You send assessment reports, board papers, shortlist decks with Excel trackers or succession packs in your own template: Formatix AI.
    • Whichever you pick, ask how the vendor supports your PDPA Transfer Limitation Obligation before uploading a live mandate.

What is the best CV formatting software for executive search firms in Singapore?

It depends on your CRM and what you send clients. Vincere users can start with its Document Builder or HireAra; DaXtra Styler suits multilingual, high-volume desks. For assessment reports, board papers, blind profiles, shortlist decks and succession packs in your own Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF template, Formatix AI is built for that.

Which CV formatting tools work with Vincere?

Vincere has its own Document Builder for formatted resumes and lists HireAra and DaXtra in its marketplace. Allsorter also lists a Vincere integration. Formatix AI does not list one; ask Formatix if you need a direct link.

How does the PDPA affect using an overseas CV formatting tool?

Section 26 of Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 sets a Transfer Limitation Obligation: personal data sent outside Singapore must receive a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, for example through contract. Ask each vendor where CVs are processed, how long they are kept and what contract terms apply. Formatix AI processes data in the UK and EU under GDPR and does not use it to train AI models. This is general information, not legal advice.

Should we remove photos, age and NRIC numbers before sending CVs to clients?

TAFEP's guidance on fair job application forms asks employers to remove fields on age (including NRIC and date of birth), race, religion, marital status, photographs and national service liability unless a reason is stated, and the Workplace Fairness Act is expected to take effect by the end of 2027. Formatix AI and DaXtra Styler both produce anonymised profiles without those details.

Can software put Hogan, SHL or Saville results into our own assessment report?

Yes. Formatix AI takes psychometric results your firm already holds, with interview notes and the CV, and lays them into your branded assessment report with charts in your house style. It does not administer, score or interpret them, and is not affiliated with those publishers.

How much does CV formatting software cost in Singapore?

Formatix AI starts at S$32 a month for 20 credits, charged in Singapore dollars at checkout, with 10 free credits valid for 14 days and no card needed. HireAra lists Starter at £180 a month plus VAT. DaXtra and Vincere do not publish formatting prices. Prices quoted in sterling will move with the Singapore dollar exchange rate.
