Deal sheet CV template
A deal sheet CV puts a candidate's selected transactions in a table, the way investment banking, private equity, corporate finance and corporate law candidates are compared. This Word template opens with the name and headline, a ruled row with the current role, sector focus and qualifications, and the profile; then the selected transactions (date, the transaction with a line on what it was, the deal type, the value as stated and the candidate's role), with the table header repeated on every page; then the career with achievements; and education, technical skills and languages side by side. Formatix writes it from the CV and any deal list you add, keeps a confidential deal under the CV's own code name or description, and never estimates, converts or totals a value.
In deal-driven hiring the transaction list is the CV. Candidates write it in a dozen formats, and the client wants to compare like with like. This layout gives every candidate the same deal table, and keeps confidentiality exactly as the candidate set it.

In Formatix the template is rebuilt in your brand, with your logo, colours and fonts taken from your website, and filled from a CV or your notes in about a minute. What you keep is the finished document: an editable Word, PowerPoint or Excel file.
Ask for changes in plain words, such as "move the photo to the right" or "add a Languages section", and the template is updated with the rest of its formatting kept. If you already have a document you send clients, upload that instead and Formatix turns it into a template. How Studio builds templates
Questions about this template
- What happens to confidential deals?
- They keep exactly the CV's own wording, such as a code name or "sale of a UK software business". Formatix never names or guesses the parties or adds a detail that could identify them. When the CV says some deals are confidential, a short note under the table says so.
- Are deal values included?
- Only as the CV states them, with its own currency and wording. A value is never estimated, converted, rounded or totalled, and the cell stays empty when the CV gives none.
- How many transactions does it show?
- Up to ten, the most recent or most significant the documents list, each with the candidate's role as the CV states it. A role is never upgraded.
- Can I add a separate deal list?
- Yes. Upload it with the CV and Formatix takes the transactions from both.
