Education and supply agencies
Supply teacher profile
A supply teacher profile is the one page a supply agency sends a school that is booking cover. Formatix fills it from the teacher's CV and your notes, shows teaching status, DBS and safeguarding training only as stated, and lists what the school will still expect.
No credit card. Your first ten CVs are free, and the trial credits are valid for 14 days.
What it is
Schools booking supply cover want subject, key stages, availability, teaching status and checks at a glance.
The Formatix template fits one page: name and headline with the photo when the CV has one; subjects, key stages and availability; teaching status, DBS and safeguarding training; a profile; SEN and SEND experience; strengths in the classroom; schools taught at; and a Still needed box. Its footer says status, checks and availability are as stated by the teacher and the agency.
Anything not stated reads "Not stated" on the page.
What Formatix fills in
| Field | Filled from |
|---|---|
| Name, headline, base and photo | The CV |
| Subjects and key stages | The CV; key stages only as stated or named through year groups |
| Availability: day-to-day, short-term or long-term, days, start date | Only as the teacher or your notes state them |
| Teaching status (QTS, QTLS or ECT) and details | Only as stated |
| DBS type and issue date, update service | As stated; update service only when the documents say |
| Safeguarding training and date | As stated |
| SEN and SEND experience, strengths, schools taught at | The CV and your notes |
What stays blank
| Field | Why it stays blank |
|---|---|
| QTS for a PGCE or overseas qualification | A PGCE alone is not QTS; an overseas qualification is shown as it is unless QTS was awarded. |
| DBS certificate number | Never printed. |
| A key stage implied only by a school's phase | Never inferred. |
| Availability not stated | Never assumed to be full-time or immediate. |
The Still needed list
When anything is missing, the profile prints a Still needed box for the agency with up to four items the school will expect, most important first: for example the teaching status and year awarded, the DBS type, issue date and update-service status, the date of the latest safeguarding training, or the days available each week.
