Construction operative profile
A construction operative profile is the page a labour agency sends a site with an operative. Formatix fills it from the operative's CV, card scans and your notes, puts the trade, start date and cards on the first page, copies card types, categories and expiry dates as printed, and keeps it to two pages.
No credit card. Your first ten CVs are free, and the trial credits are valid for 14 days.
What it is
Site managers check cards before anything else: the CSCS card type and expiry, and for plant operators the CPCS or NPORS card and its categories. They also want to know when the operative can start, where they are based and how they will get to site.
The Formatix template sets out the name and trade; a strip with available from, base, travel and driving licence; the CSCS card; plant cards with categories; tickets and training with dates; qualifications; a short summary; plant operated and site types; and up to five recent site roles.
A card is marked Expired only when the documents say so or a stated expiry date has passed. The footer asks the site to verify cards on CSCS Smart Check.
What Formatix fills in
| Field | Filled from |
|---|---|
| Name and trade | The CV |
| Available from, base, travel, driving licence | Your notes or the CV, as stated |
| CSCS card type, number, expiry | The card scan or your notes, as printed |
| CPCS or NPORS cards with categories and expiry | The card scans, as printed |
| Tickets and training with dates and expiry | Certificates, the CV or your notes |
| Summary, plant operated, site types, site experience | The CV |
What stays blank
| Field | Why it stays blank |
|---|---|
| A card, category or expiry not shown on the documents | Left empty. A red card is never turned into a blue one and a category is never added because the operative drives that machine. |
| An expiry date not stated | Never calculated from an issue or course date. |
| Date of birth, address, phone, email, National Insurance number, nationality, health | Never printed. |
