CV formatting with Loxo
Loxo branded resume formatting in your own template
Loxo generates a white-labelled resume with your agency's name and logo, can hide or anonymise the candidate's details, and saves it as a PDF through the browser's print dialog. If your firm presents candidates in its own designed Word or PowerPoint document, Formatix uses that file as the template and fills it from any raw resume. There is no Formatix connector for Loxo, so you format in Formatix and attach the document to the candidate in Loxo.
This is for Loxo users, often US and UK search firms, who want the resume or candidate profile in the firm's exact house style rather than a branded version of the original.
No card needed. 10 free credits on sign-up, valid for 14 days; one credit formats one CV.
What Loxo does natively
Loxo's help centre describes a white-labelled branded resume that shows your agency's name and logo. You can hide the candidate's name, photo, phone number and email, or reduce the name to initials, and the PDF is produced through the browser's print dialog (Save as PDF). For presenting candidates, Loxo also has share links with client comments and scorecards, a hiring manager portal and executive presentations built from Loxo reports.
The Loxo pages we read do not describe a template editor or a choice of layouts for the resume.

Where Formatix fits
Formatix fits when the layout has to be yours: it reads the resume, structures it and fills a template built from the document your firm already sends, in Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF.
For a slate of candidates it produces the individual profiles, a PowerPoint shortlist deck and an Excel tracker from the same batch.
- Your own Word, PowerPoint or Excel file is the template: upload the profile, deck or tracker you already send clients and Formatix builds a reusable template from it, keeping your fonts, colours, layout and logo.
- Starts from any raw CV: PDF, Word, RTF, text, scans and photos (OCR) and LinkedIn PDF exports, in more than 40 languages.
- Output in Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF, so the document stays editable when a consultant needs to adjust it.
- Anonymised CVs and blind profiles from the same CV, with names, contact details and other identifying fields left out.
- Shortlist decks (one slide per candidate) and Excel trackers filled from the same batch of CVs as the individual profiles.
- Every formatted document is shown beside the original CV for checking before it goes to a client.
How to use Formatix with Loxo
- 1
Build your template once
Sign up and upload the Word, PowerPoint or Excel document your firm already sends clients. Formatix turns it into a reusable template and shows you a sample filled from a real CV to approve.
- 2
Format the CV
Take the CV from the candidate record in Loxo and drop it into the Formatix platform (one or a batch), email it to [email protected], or ask ChatGPT or Claude to format it with your template through the Formatix connector.
- 3
Attach the result in Loxo
Check the formatted document beside the original, then attach the Word, PowerPoint or PDF file to the candidate record in Loxo or send it to the client.
There is no Formatix connector for Loxo today, so the two are used side by side: Loxo stays your system of record and Formatix produces the client document. A Loxo connector is built on request: tell us your firm uses Loxo.
Firms with their own developers can also call the Formatix REST API (webhooks on the Agency plan and above) to format CVs from their own workflow.
Each formatted CV uses one credit. New accounts get 10 free credits on sign-up (no card, valid for 14 days); plans start at £20 a month for 20 credits. From ChatGPT or Claude, Formatix is free for 5 CVs a month when the assistant reads the CV itself (confirmed company email, no card).
Frequently asked questions
- Can Loxo format resumes into our own template?
- Loxo's help centre (read 19 October 2026) describes a white-labelled resume with your agency name and logo, with options to hide or anonymise candidate details, saved as a PDF. It does not describe a template editor. To use your own Word or PowerPoint design, format the resume in Formatix and attach it to the candidate in Loxo.
- Does Formatix integrate with Loxo?
- Not directly yet. There is no Formatix connector for Loxo today; a connector is built on request. Until then, download the CV from Loxo, format it on the Formatix platform, by email to [email protected] or from ChatGPT or Claude, and attach the formatted file back to the record in Loxo.
- Can I get an editable Word file instead of a PDF?
- Yes. Formatix outputs Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF from your template, so consultants can edit the document before it goes to the client.
- How much does Formatix cost for a firm using Loxo?
- The same as for anyone else: Each formatted CV uses one credit. New accounts get 10 free credits on sign-up (no card, valid for 14 days); plans start at £20 a month for 20 credits. From ChatGPT or Claude, Formatix is free for 5 CVs a month when the assistant reads the CV itself (confirmed company email, no card). There is no separate fee for using Formatix alongside Loxo.
