CV formatting with Vincere

Vincere branded CV formatting in your own template

Vincere's Document Builder lets an admin build a Formatted Resume template with the firm's branding and wildcards that pull candidate details from the record, and recruiters run Format Resume from the candidate profile. Formatix starts from the CV the candidate sent and fills your firm's own Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF file, one CV or a batch at a time. There is no Formatix connector for Vincere yet, so you format in Formatix and attach the document to the candidate in Vincere.

This page is for Vincere users looking for a branded CV in the firm's exact house style, or for documents beyond the CV such as a shortlist deck.

No card needed. 10 free credits on sign-up, valid for 14 days; one credit formats one CV.

    What Vincere does natively

Vincere's help centre describes a Document Builder (Settings, then Document Builder) where you create a template with the document type Formatted Resumes, add logos and branding, and insert wildcards that pull candidate details from the record. Format Resume on a candidate profile fills the template, can bring in the text of the original CV, and saves the result to the profile's Files tab. The help centre says formatting is run from the candidate profile.

    Where Formatix fits

Formatix fits when the CV has to read like your own document, not a record printout: it reads the candidate's CV, structures the employment history, achievements and education, and fills a template built from the Word or PowerPoint file your firm already uses.

It also covers a whole shortlist in one go: individual profiles, a PowerPoint shortlist deck and an Excel tracker from the same batch of CVs.

    • Your own Word, PowerPoint or Excel file is the template: upload the profile, deck or tracker you already send clients and Formatix builds a reusable template from it, keeping your fonts, colours, layout and logo.
    • Starts from any raw CV: PDF, Word, RTF, text, scans and photos (OCR) and LinkedIn PDF exports, in more than 40 languages.
    • Output in Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF, so the document stays editable when a consultant needs to adjust it.
    • Anonymised CVs and blind profiles from the same CV, with names, contact details and other identifying fields left out.
    • Shortlist decks (one slide per candidate) and Excel trackers filled from the same batch of CVs as the individual profiles.
    • Every formatted document is shown beside the original CV for checking before it goes to a client.

How to use Formatix with Vincere

    1. 1

      Build your template once

Sign up and upload the Word, PowerPoint or Excel document your firm already sends clients. Formatix turns it into a reusable template and shows you a sample filled from a real CV to approve.

    2. 2

      Format the CV

Take the CV from the candidate record in Vincere and drop it into the Formatix platform (one or a batch), email it to [email protected], or ask ChatGPT or Claude to format it with your template through the Formatix connector.

    3. 3

      Attach the result in Vincere

Check the formatted document beside the original, then attach the Word, PowerPoint or PDF file to the candidate record in Vincere or send it to the client.

There is no Formatix connector for Vincere today, so the two are used side by side: Vincere stays your system of record and Formatix produces the client document. A Vincere connector is built on request: tell us your firm uses Vincere.

Firms with their own developers can also call the Formatix REST API (webhooks on the Agency plan and above) to format CVs from their own workflow.

Each formatted CV uses one credit. New accounts get 10 free credits on sign-up (no card, valid for 14 days); plans start at £20 a month for 20 credits. From ChatGPT or Claude, Formatix is free for 5 CVs a month when the assistant reads the CV itself (confirmed company email, no card).

    Frequently asked questions

How do I create a branded CV in Vincere?
Vincere's help centre describes the Document Builder: create a template with the document type Formatted Resumes, add your logo and branding and insert wildcards for candidate details, then run Format Resume from the candidate profile. Not directly yet. There is no Formatix connector for Vincere today; a connector is built on request. Until then, download the CV from Vincere, format it on the Formatix platform, by email to [email protected] or from ChatGPT or Claude, and attach the formatted file back to the record in Vincere.
Can I format a whole shortlist at once?
Yes. Upload a batch of CVs to Formatix and it produces one profile per candidate, and can fill a PowerPoint shortlist deck and an Excel tracker from the same batch. Attach the files to the candidates or the job in Vincere.
