CV formatting with Ezekia

Ezekia CV formatting in your own Word and PowerPoint template

Ezekia's Candidate Reporting builds candidate and assignment reports from the data already held in Ezekia, using custom report templates. Formatix does a different job: it starts from the candidate's own CV, in any layout or language, and produces the CV or profile in your firm's own Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF template. A Formatix connector for Ezekia is in testing and available on request; until it is switched on for your firm, format the CV in Formatix and attach it to the person in Ezekia.

Executive search firms on Ezekia often search for the same thing: how to turn the CV a candidate sent into the firm's branded profile without retyping it into a report.

No card needed. 10 free credits on sign-up, valid for 14 days; one credit formats one CV.

    What Ezekia does natively

Ezekia's Candidate Reporting generates candidate and assignment reports from the information stored in Ezekia records, using custom report templates. Its product page lists PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint export; its help centre describes Word and Excel reports that follow a template you upload, and PDF reports with a predefined layout.

The Ezekia pages we read describe reports built from data in Ezekia; they do not describe reformatting a candidate's own CV into a firm template.

    Where Formatix fits

The two are complementary. Ezekia reports present what is already in your records; Formatix reads the CV itself, so the career history, education and achievements a candidate wrote come through into your template without being keyed into Ezekia first.

Formatix also produces the documents around the CV in your house style: anonymised profiles for confidential searches, PowerPoint shortlist decks and Excel longlists filled from the same batch of CVs.

    • Your own Word, PowerPoint or Excel file is the template: upload the profile, deck or tracker you already send clients and Formatix builds a reusable template from it, keeping your fonts, colours, layout and logo.
    • Starts from any raw CV: PDF, Word, RTF, text, scans and photos (OCR) and LinkedIn PDF exports, in more than 40 languages.
    • Output in Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF, so the document stays editable when a consultant needs to adjust it.
    • Anonymised CVs and blind profiles from the same CV, with names, contact details and other identifying fields left out.
    • Shortlist decks (one slide per candidate) and Excel trackers filled from the same batch of CVs as the individual profiles.
    • Every formatted document is shown beside the original CV for checking before it goes to a client.

How to use Formatix with Ezekia

    1. 1

      Build your template once

Upload the Word, PowerPoint or Excel document your firm already sends clients. Formatix turns it into a reusable template and shows you a sample filled from a real CV to approve.

    2. 2

Connector in testing: ask for it

A Formatix connector for Ezekia is in testing and available on request. It connects with an Ezekia API token and attaches the formatted CV back to the person in Ezekia. Tell us you use Ezekia and we will tell you whether it can be switched on for your firm.

    3. 3

Until then, use the two side by side

Take the CV from the person record in Ezekia, format it on the Formatix platform, by email to [email protected] or from ChatGPT or Claude, check it beside the original and attach the file back to the person in Ezekia.

The Ezekia connector is not generally available yet: it is being tested and is offered on request. We will update this page when that changes.

Each formatted CV uses one credit. New accounts get 10 free credits on sign-up (no card, valid for 14 days); plans start at £20 a month for 20 credits. From ChatGPT or Claude, Formatix is free for 5 CVs a month when the assistant reads the CV itself (confirmed company email, no card).

    Frequently asked questions

Can Ezekia reformat a candidate's CV into our template?
Ezekia's Candidate Reporting builds reports from the data held in Ezekia, using custom report templates; the Ezekia pages we read (19 October 2026) do not describe reformatting the candidate's own CV. Formatix starts from the CV itself and fills your Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF template.
    Does Formatix integrate with Ezekia?
A Formatix connector for Ezekia is in testing and available on request. It connects with an Ezekia API token and attaches the formatted CV back to the person in Ezekia. It is not generally available yet; until it is switched on for your firm, download the CV from Ezekia, format it in Formatix and attach the result to the person record.
Can we keep our existing Word and PowerPoint designs?
Yes. The document you already send clients becomes the template, with its fonts, colours, layout and logo. Formatix fills it from each CV; you check the result beside the original before it goes out.
How much does Formatix cost for a firm using Ezekia?
The same as for anyone else: Each formatted CV uses one credit. New accounts get 10 free credits on sign-up (no card, valid for 14 days); plans start at £20 a month for 20 credits. From ChatGPT or Claude, Formatix is free for 5 CVs a month when the assistant reads the CV itself (confirmed company email, no card). There is no separate fee for using Formatix alongside Ezekia.
